Hi there! I’m Jamie Steidle. I wish I could say I’m a writer for a living, but I do have a day job. It’s being a Director of SEO (Formerly at IGN and VICE). This blog is not about SEO, though, so you can rest easy knowing you don’t have to learn a new acronym, it stands for Search Engine Optimization. Shoot, sorry about that!
What I’m Reading
Anyway, this blog is about my love for writing and reading. Sometimes it will be about writers I’m reading, like Michael Crichton. Other times it’ll be about what I’m writing, like a comedic murder mystery. Sometimes it’ll be about drawing. Most of the time it’ll be about what’s on my mind—linguistics, and learning a new language (currently Czech).
Every so often, I’ll branch out into other writers, books, stories, drawings, realms and things I’m interested in. But for the most part, if you’re curious about my thoughts on writers, books, languages and the everyday minutiae of life, then you’ve come to the right place.
If not, well, worth it to stick around for a bit, you still might find something your interested in.
